We would recommend that you fully charge your new batteries before first use, it will not take long as they will come out to you almost fully charged but it is worth the effort, we would further recommend that you charge as soon as you can after each and every use, its not a good idea to leave them sitting around in a semi discharged state, it will always be better if you can ensure there is a minimum of 20% charge left in the battery at the end of the day as the battery will recover better from that state than fully discharged, if you are not using for extended periods then charge every eight weeks to attempt minimise the natural self discharge effect.
Chemistry of battery: VRLA, AGM, sealed lead

There is two batteries in this pack for the Drive Royale 3 and 4 mobility scooter, the size of them is listed below for your convenience:
Length = 259mm
Width = 158mm
Height = 215mm.
If you use your Royale scooter a lot and often run below 60% of the battery capacity then they are not going to last for many years, if this sounds like you then maybe you might be interested in Lithium, they can be run down 100% without ill effect and good for some 5000 charge, about ten times more than there lead counterparts. We also may be able to offer other alternatives in the seasy upgrade drop down menu above.
