Installing the batteries is comparatively easy procedure if in any doubt refer to your manual for the process, they will come out to you almost fully charged but the system will still go through a service charge upon firing up, of course it will follow that during this short interim period your system will not be able to offer you its full runtime protection until it has finished this task, while you might just want to install and go, if you can it may be better to start without load until its completed its first charge, this will give the system chance to reset to the new batteries properly

These batteries are absorbed glass mat, AGM and valve regulated sealed lead acid or VRLA for short, they require no maintenance and due to their internal chemistry can be mounted on the side in rack mounted or tower UPS systems without the fear of leakage, they are not-hazardous so can be used in busy data centres, hospitals and of course the home office.
