Installing the batteries is comparatively easy procedure if in any doubt refer to your manual for the process, they will come out to you almost fully charged but the system will still go through a service charge upon firing up, with this in mind it will follow that there will be a short period of time that the system is unable to offer its full runtime protection while it is doing this, our best advice would be to allow the system to run without load during the first charge to allow the new battery energy level to reset
