The batteries that we dispatch to you will be almost fully charged, your UPS will complete a full charge and this helps it reset to the new battery cell, this will mean that during this short interim period the full runtime protection will not be available to be utilised until its finished, if you have the opportunity, maybe of an evening, it will be best to run the system without a load to start so it can properly reset itself to the new energy level
You can assume that battery life in the UPS would be between 2-5 years, how it's used over time however will determine this, good ventilation is always important, so often they are used as a book shelf, If you add more devices over time keep an eye on the load, if you can keep it below 40% it will last longer, while its more than capable of going higher it will be at the expense of the battery life
