These batteries are wet or flooded, they come out to you ready to charge but you still need to keep them maintained, this means regular checks on the fluid and replenish where required, they need to be vented as gas will naturally be produced during use and recharging, they are a very cost effective way of storing energy and capable of deep cycling but failure to maintain them will shorten the life of them, they are rechargeable and recyclable
