After placing your order and upon receipt of your new battery pack you may will note that they have a good charge in them, but regardless of this you will still need to charge them fully before using for the first time, just charge them until your charger LED lights indicate that they are ready, it will probably not take very long, do not just install and go without this initial charge, doing so can shorten expected life span, it's well worth doing
