This is a replacement 12v battery pack for this popular range of cordless power tools, it is interchangeable with all the tools in the range so if you have more than one drill driver, screwdriver, torch or another tool within the same range you can use the same battery pack. As cordless power tool batteries will last longer if they are used a lot then this can be very handy, swapping them about in tools that you use more regularly, often some tools do not get used in some seasons, for example, your drill might be used more than a hedge trimmer in the winter months and visa versa.
