The batteries we send out will be almost fully charged, but the system will still want to finish off the full charge, you should be aware that while this is happening the system will not be able to offer the full backup runtime period until its finished, if you are able its always best to do this initial charge without any load to start, we know this may not be convenient in a lot of installations but that is best advise it's up to you whether you heed it
It would not be unreasonable to expect batteries to last between 2 to five years in this equipment, this can of course be dependent on its general use, good ventilation is important, if it's in a office do not use it as a book shelf, also do not overload with devices, if you can keep the load below 40%, while the system may be of going higher than that its working the battery cell harder which means a shorter life span
These batteries will require no general maintenance, they are AGM and VRLA, they are also not-hazardous, they can be used in rack mountable or tower systems as they will not leak if mounted on the side
