The batteries that we send to you will be almost fully charged but the system will still need to complete a service charge after installing, it does mean of course that during this interim period the full runtime protection will not be available to you until its finished, if you have the opportunity it will be best to run the system without a load to start so it can properly reset itself to the new energy level

It would be fair to expect batteries to last somewhere between two to five years in this UPS, this unfortunately will be very dependent on the general conditions its put under, ensure there is adequate ventilation around the device, do not block the vents, do not allow it to be used as a shelf to put files on, if the batteries overheat it shortens the life span, try and keep the load below 40% if you can, while it may well be capable of more it will shorten the battery life

These batteries are sealed lead valve regulated or VRLA and benefit from AGM technology, this means they will not spill so can be mounted on the side in a UPS without fear of leakage, they can be used in rack or tower modules, they are not-hazardous so safe for use in mission critical environments including busy data centres or hospitals
