Your new batteries that we dispatch to you will be almost fully charged but the system will still need to complete a service charge after installing, with this in mind it follows that there is a certain period of time that the system is unable to offer its full runtime protection while it is doing this, we know it may not be convenient as everything is completed a rush but if you can its best to run the system without any load to start
Batteries in this type of installation would typically have a expected life span of between 2 to five years, this will however differ quite a lot depending on the use, the batteries will get hot in general use, the hotter they get the shorter the life so good ventilation is paramount, the higher the load the harder its working which directly relates to battery life, if you can try to keep it below 40%
The batteries are valve regulated sealed lead acid or VRLA for short with AGM technology, no need for any maintenance and can be mounted on their side in a UPS with fear of leakage, they are not-hazardous so safe for use in hospitals, busy data centres as well as the home office
