There are six batteries in this pack, as would be required for installation within the PSI PS2200RT2-230. The expected life span in such an application is between three to five years in normal conditions. Your UPS system would like to be positioned in a dust-free climate-controlled environment. If you have one of these, then you are fortunate. If you do not, then you can help yourself, keep the vents clear and use a vacuum to do so regularly. Dust will build on the vents and find its way onto the fan blades, this will reduce their capability of cooling the system, and as a result, the batteries will run hotter, meaning they will not last as long.
If you get the opportunity, we recommend running the system up with load after fitting your new batteries, at least until the new batteries are registered as fully charged. Even better if you can leave them overnight. This will help reset to the new energy levels they have been given, and you may find doing so will allow them to last longer.
