The batteries that we send to you will be almost fully charged but the system will still need to complete a service charge after installing, so it of course follows that there will be a period of time where you do not have the full protection that your UPS could offer until it has completed this operation, you probably just want to install and go but its best to run the system without a load to so it can properly reset

You can expect a battery life expectancy of between 2-5 years in your UPS, this unfortunately will be very dependent on the general conditions its put under, make sure it has good ventilation, the batteries will get hot in general use, the hotter they are the shorter the life span, do not pile books on top of it, also do not overload with to many devices, if you can keep the load below 40%, while the system may be of going higher than that its working the battery cell harder which means a shorter life span

These batteries are valve regulated, recommended for uninterruptible power supplies, they will not leak due to the advanced absorbed glass mat technology, being both AGM and VRLA they can be used in both tower or rack configurations, also not-hazardous so safe for mission critical installations

Check the code on your UPS to ensure you are ordering the correct battery set, many codes are very similar, the size of the batteries are also specified below if you are unsure, the batteries are recyclable, more information about recycling can be found at the foot of this page.
