Despite the fact that the batteries you receive from us will be almost fully charged the system will still need to complete and finish off a full charge, you should note that while this is going on the system will of course not be able to offer the full runtime backup time period until it has finished doing this, you will find its better to allow the system to run without load to start while it completes the first charge to reset the new battery energy level

A reasonable life span of batteries is between two to five years, this is not a set rule though life span will change depending on how they are used, ensure there is plenty of ventilation around the device, do not cover the vents or place it next to a radiator, do not use it as a book shelf, if the batteries get to hot all the time it will shorten the life span, to get a long battery life you should try to keep the load below 40%, if you have added more devices over time this may have crept up, its capable much more but the pay off will be battery life so it's a balancing act
