The batteries that we send to you will be almost fully charged but the system will still need to complete a service charge after installing, while this is going on the system will of course not be able to offer the full runtime backup time period until it has finished doing this, if you have the opportunity it will be best to run the system without a load to start so it can properly reset itself to the new energy level
It may be reasonable to expect two to five years from your new batteries in this UPS, this will be dependant the use your put it to, using the UPS system as part of the office furniture, putting boxes on it is not the best idea, it needs good ventilation, the batteries will in general use get very hot as they are working hard 24-hours a day, the more heat the shorter their life, If you can keep the load below 40% the batteries will last longer, a high load will be at the expense of the overall life span of the cells
