It is far better to charge this type of battery after every use; try not to let them run down below 20% of the charge, and that way, they will last much longer; if they are not being used for long periods, then charge every five weeks to keep the cells topped up with energy.

This is a recyclable product. Please ensure it ends up at a recycling point at the end of its life so it can be turned into another battery, this is a green and Eco-friendly product if allowed to be, and it will help to save the planet we all live on in.
