How to charge and maintain your new Storm Arrow FWD batteries?
Battery charging has many myths surrounding it and depending on who you ask, you will get told a different thing however if you follow a few simple rules you should be able to keep them in good condition. Firstly, although our batteries are stored in more or less a fully charged state you should charge until full before first use, this may only take minutes. More importantly never leave the battery in a discharged state, charge as soon as possible after every use until full and never allow the battery to drain completely. Although power-chairs are many users lifeline to the outside world there may come a time when it is put in storage or not used for a while, if this is the case then charge your batteries every 4/5-weeks to slow down the natural discharge rate all rechargeable batteries have.
