We would suggest that you fully charge your new Shoprider Monza S-889 DXS battery replacements before fist use, it should not take long as they will reach your door almost fully charged, also do so after every use as soon as is convenient, it does this type of battery no good sitting in a semi discharged state, it will always be better if you can leave at least 20% capacity in the cells at the end of the day, any less and you may slowly decrease overall life. I f not being used for longer periods then top up the charge every 8-weeks to slow down the natural discharge that will occur
