The following information is in relation to a replacement battery for the Aprilia Tuareg 1988-1994 motorbike engine cranking battery. which are 12v and now AGM. as this is a starter battery it differs to deep cycle ones, it is able to offer much more in energy in short bursts which is what you want to start the engine.
These batteries are known as flooded cell, sometimes as wet, and they come with an acid pack,.for the end user it means that they can be maintained and will not suffer as much if they are overcharged. A long life can be obtained with good power output if they are looked after.
