Yamaha RD125-LC battery 1982+ motorbike 12v replacement.
Replacement Yamaha RD125-LC 1982+ battery pack, rechargeable 12v 5Ah, batteries at low price direct from warehouse.
The Yamaha RD125-LC was probably only born because of the restriction of cubic capacity of 17 year old without a full motorbike license being reduced from 250cc to 125cc in the early 80's, it was not just the physical size of the engine either, there were restrictions on horse power too, this made things very difficult as there were a lot of fine 250cc machines to choose from both 2 and 4 stroke. So then was launched probably the most iconic 125cc of that time the RD125-LC, these little single cylinder two stroke liquid cooled bikes with tiny fairing could be heard long before they could be seen screaming to keep up with everyone else leaving the odour of 2-stroke oil in the air, as time went on word got around and without social media on how to modify them to obtain more horsepower. they were even raced and soon they were almost keeping up with the 250's, yet still screaming at 10k plus revs and still leaving burnt oil in the air.
Although AGM batteries require maintenance they do offer a long life as long as they are looked after and high amp out for starting.
