The YZF750 had a 749cc inline 4-cylinder four stroke engine with 5 valve per cylinder over a 6-speed transmission, the SP version had a single seat, very much aimed at track enthusiasts and a very successful model, often complaints about excessive oil use and a flat spot at about 2000 to 2500 revolutions per minute, recommended fix was to allow a richer mix and a new jet kit, because of this issue valve clearances should be inspected a little bit more often.
The battery is a AGM type battery pack, it will be delivered to you dry charged so be as fresh as the day it was made, it will require activation and the kit will be supplied with it, you should offer up the battery to ensure its correct before doing so as they cannot be returned afterwards, if fact as a responsible rider you should check its the correct battery before ordering, it will state something like YTX12BS on the side, if not connect us for advise.
Once activated the battery will have sufficient energy to start a normal working engine, but the first charge is important so ensure you take it for a good ride afterwards to replenish the energy used, although this battery will need no maintenance it still needs charging, so if you use your bike all year round that's great, but if there are times it sits in the garage then charge every 6-weeks, perhaps more if there is an alarm or something else that drains the battery down.
