The CB600F Hornet (called the 599 in the USA) is a sports type motorbike in standard or naked livery without fairing with a 599cc liquid-cooled 16-valve inline-four engine and a six-speed gearbox, its quite a basic machine but has a good following, it has a low seat so well suited to shorter riders.

The battery type is GEL after activation it will require no maintenance throughout its life span, as its dry charged it will delivered to you as fresh as the day it left the factory. There will be sufficient power in the battery to start a normal engine, you should of course though take her for a good ride afterwards, at least 20-minutes to get the energy level back into the battery as the first charge is important.
Although the battery needs no ongoing maintenance it does need to be kept charged, if you use your bike all year round then that's fine as you are already doing the best, if not then be aware that it will naturally slowly discharge, our advice would be to take it off the bike, charge and again every 6-weeks but do not leave it on the charger for more than 24-hours at a time during any period of no use, such as the winter season.
