No maintenance is required with this type of battery, it's AGM, and once activated it will be as fresh as the day it was made. There will be sufficient energy to start a normal working engine. Once this has been done though you should either take her for a run or put them on a charger as the first charge is important. If you use your bike a few times a week all year round then you are already looking after your battery. It's when it's not being used that the decay will set in.
If there are long periods where it's not being used our best advice would be to take the battery off, store it in a dry place away from frost, off a cold floor and recharge it every eight weeks. To be honest everything else is a compromise, there are many things if the battery is left installed that can drain the battery down. It only takes a slightly loose connection to drain a battery. Alarms and immobilises do it much quicker and unless you are very confident about a trickle charger then we would not recommend using them either.
