APC RBC22 battery replacement Smart-UPS #22 cartridge.
Replacement APC RBC22 battery pack, easy to fit 12v sealed batteries for many Smart-UPS systems, save a lot of money and fit them yourself, supplied direct from warehouse at low price.
The APC RBC22 is often fitted in rack mountable Smart UPS systems, you will no doubt already been notified by the intelligent but annoying audible alarm and or light emitting diode flashing merrily away telling you to change the battery.
Changing the battery pack yourself in this system is easy, it will not take you more than five minutes, following these simple steps, ( you should be able to complete this in a rack if its mounted this way ).
Power down the server of other equipment this UPS is protecting.
Power down and remove the power lead from the UPS.
The front cover will just pull off, you will then be able to see a plug in the middle of the panel, probably with a lead making it easy to pull off the disconnect, then to the left of this there will be 4 screws holding the battery pack in place, remove these and slide the battery module cartridge out.
Then just swap the batteries over two lead on each, four in total one at a time and put back together.
You should of course refer to your owners manual for fully instructions.
This pack contains two batteries, they are sealed lead acid, non-hazardous, they will not leak and suitable for this installation.
Pair of 12v VRLA, AGM batteries.

wide - 65mm
high - 94mm
They are terminated with flat spade terminals.
