This pack is for eight batteries for the APC Smart-UPS-3000-USB & Serial RM 2U module, SUA3000RMI2U. fitting is quite straightforward, with perhaps basic office equipment, a screwdriver and a pair of pliers, but if in doubt you should obtain the advice of a professional.
If you get the opportunity it would be best if you can run them up after fitting with no load for twenty-four hours. This would certainly allow the cells to settle down properly and reset themselves to the next part of their life span. It would probably pay dividends if you can find the time for this and save you money in the long run.
