This is a replacement battery power pack for the APC Smart-UPS RT-6000 SURT6000XLI UPS system. It is a user replacement valve-regulated sealed data centre safe battery at a low cost.
This is a battery pack for the APC Smart-UPS RT-6000 model number SURT6000XLI. There are sixteen batteries in total, which are required for this UPS and fit in your cartridge module. They are hot-swap capable and user replacement cells. They are sealed lead acid and absorbed glass mat required for this installation. They will not leak and are not hazardous, so they are safe for mission-critical data centres and can be mounted in either tower or rack mountable orientations without fear of leakage.

This UPS is a 3U rack-mountable system and can also be used as a tower; it is a 4200-Watt and 6000VA sine-wave device with a great many user-friendly features such as an automatic battery self-test and a quick recharge time of 2.5 hours. The expected life span of this equipment is between three to five years, but this can depend on load and suitable ventilation. If your batteries are on the way out, then you should change them sooner rather than later, as the cells will be cycling much quicker if they need replacing, which could contribute to overheating and gassing.
This product is repayable; when it has come to the end of its useful life, you should ensure they are directed to a recycling point as doing so establishes a very green and environmentally friendly product indeed.
