We will dispatch batteries to you that are almost fully charged, your UPS will still need to finish off the charge which helps it reset to the battery cell itself, you should note that while this is going on you will not have the full runtime protection, if you can it would be best to allow the initial charge without any load to start, we know this may not be convenient in a lot of installations but that is best advise it's up to you whether you heed it.
You can expect batteries in this UPS to have a life expectancy of between 2-5 years, this will vary greatly on conditions, ensure the system is not buried under piles of paper work as they often are in a office, the batteries get hot, the hotter they are the shorter their lifespan, to get a long battery life you should try to keep the load below 40%, its capable much more but the pay off will be battery life.
