Even though the batteries you receive from us will be just about fully charged you should still complete a full charge before first use, you can skip this step if it's going in something like an alarm system as its always connected to the mains and it will complete this charge for you automatically, you do not need to leave it on for hours on end, it will probably not take very long at all depending on the charger, just until it has finished, do not miss out this important first step, it will help set them up and possibly extend the possible overall life expectancy of them.
