The best way to look after your new GTZ14S, YTZ14S-MF, battery is to keep is fully charged, charge it before first use and before any period of storage such as over the winter period when a lot of devices are not used, in this case charge them every 2 months, take note that many things can discharge your battery such as alarms, immobilises, even dodgy wiring, if you allow it to become discharged in this way your are shortening the life of the battery, if not being used take off of motorbike and charge, and again every two months, do not leave on charger for more than 24-hours.
