Our Haze HZS12-26 HSC12-26 replacement batteries are valave regulated sealed lead or VRLA, they are also AGM, they need no maintenance excpet of course chargeing. They can be mounted on the side without fear of spillage, often seen in portable electric vehicles and many other things.
The battery will come to you with a reasonable charge, but it is good practice always to charge a new battery when you receive it and before first use. If it's not being used, recharge it every four to six weeks to keep the cells in good order. Recharge as soon as you can after each use; it will do the battery no good to allow it to sit in either a semi- or fully discharged state.
It will probably take around ten uses in the device and associated charges before the battery is capable of accepting a full-capacity charge. This is quite normal and part of the conditioning process they all go through.
