Even though the batteries you receive from us will be almost fully charged you should still charge before first use, if the battery is being fitted in something like an UPS system then you can miss this step as the on board charging circuit will do a better job it than you, the charge time will depend on your charger, just leave it on until it indicates its finished, make sure you do not miss the initial charge (unless as stated above), doing so may well reduce overall life expectancy
