The batteries you receive from us will be nearly fully charged, but it's essential to charge them before first use, except when installing in devices with a continuous power supply like a UPS system. Charging won’t take long, so simply wait for the charger to indicate completion. Don’t skip this step for portable devices.
Typically, it takes up to ten charge cycles combined with device usage to reach full capacity. Always charge the batteries right after use and avoid keeping them in a semi-discharged state. Discharging the batteries won’t rejuvenate them and may shorten their lifespan. If you won’t use your equipment regularly, fully charge the batteries before downtime and top them off every four weeks, but do not leave them on the charger for more than 24 hours.
These 12-volt batteries are sealed lead-acid valve-regulated (VRLA) and use AGM technology, making them safe for indoor use and spill-proof. They are capable of deep cycling and are not hazardous.
