This is a longer-lasting battery, sometimes seen as 10ah, probably 12ah, prevalent in many devices, including electric bicycles, smaller travel mobility scooters, and even many computer batteries back up uninterruptible power supplies. It has the exact dimensions of the previously mentioned ten and twelve-ampere versions, so it can swap straight over to last longer between charges which is a benefit, for example, more miles per charge if used in an electric vehicle.
Please charge your new battery before first use; our advice would be to recharge after every use where practical. This kind of battery prefers to have a substantial charge rather than allow it to become discharged. If it's lying dormant for long periods, recharge every seven to nine weeks to ensure the charge is complete, but do not just leave it on the charger full time as this could have a detrimental effect.
