When you receive your order from us they will have a fairly high charge in them, but you still need to fully charge them before first use, this will not be necessary only if being fitted in something that is always connected to the mains like a UPS system which will do this job for you, the time of the first charge will be dependent on the charger, just leave it on until its finished, it will probably not take very long, while you may well be tempted just to use them without charging first, if it's going in a portable device or mobility electric vehicle it would be unwise to miss this out
