The batteries will be more or less fully charged when they arrive, but you must still charge them before use. The following tips are also critical, you must charge after each and every use. Do not attempt to drain the battery; just because they are capable of deeper discharges does not mean you should test them to that extent; doing so will only shorten the battery's life expectancy and cost you money in the long run. If possible, always leave at least 20% of the charge. If you are not actively using the batteries for any reason, a four-week top-up charge will keep the cells fresh. However, do not leave the charger on for any longer than is absolutely necessary.
Please be aware that we have seen some different versions of this battery that have reversed terminals but only on rare occasions. This means that when you face the battery, the positive terminal is on the left, not the right. Unfortunately, this product is unavailable in the United Kingdom at time of writing; however, we recommend installing it in a different orientation or extending the wires to see if you can make it work. The battery you will receive is like the one in the picture.
