This tower system takes a module for the Smart UPS 1000XL with the model number SUA1000XL. the model number will normally be on the reverse of your system so you can confirm you have the correct pack.
Fitting is quite easy and well within the reach of most people, if you are going to do it your self follow these simple steps as a guide only.
Shutdown and power down any computers attached to it, the power down the UPS and remove the power lead from the wall socket, pull down and forward the front cover which will expose the battery door, this will be held in place by two Phillips screws or plastic grommets, once removed the door can be folded down and the batteries pulled out, just swap over the leads and replace in reverse order, it will probably take five or ten minutes to complete.
You may be well advised to power up without any load to start with until the batteries have been fully charged by the system this makes resetting easier.
Valve regulated lead acid sealed VRLA, not-hazardous and non-spillable.
