It is important that you look after your new battery, charge it when it arrives and first use, if you are not using it for long periods then a recharge every six weeks should be applied, we are not fans of constant trickle chargers, although better than nothing at all, best advice is to either use the bike all round or give it a proper charge every six weeks assuming that there is nothing draining the battery such as a immobiliser or alarm.
