The Sport-Rider produced by Drive-Medical is something pretty unique in the mobility scooter world, being inspired by some of the leading designs in the motorcycle industry making it a real head turner. Also known as the SR-XL3 MVSR. The twin digital dash, motorcycle style wheels with chrome mud guards, telescopic front suspension and all round lighting including a large headlight, indicators and rear brake lights really makes you feel like you are driving something special.

This scooter can take different batteries, as standard it would have been supplied with 79ah AGM and this is what this page is offering however we are also able to supply 97.6ah GEL versions which are a slightly different physical size, you can upgrade to this on the easy upgrade section or find its own page with more information on the alternatives tab.

Installation of these batteries is not difficult however they are very heavy with all the lead content, you should seek advice from a professional if need be.

Now that you have invested in a pair of high quality batteries you should look after them, this can be done by charging upon delivery and most importantly charging after every use. If left without use for a period of six weeks or so then a top up charge will help lengthen the life of them, never leave on charge for more than 24-hours.
