On offer here is a battery that is compatible and will replace most 12v-7Ah batteries including the EXP1270 from ExpertPower which is usually only sold in USA. They are rechargeable, recyclable, deep cycle, valve regulated, sealed lead acid batteries and as such they are non-spillable AGM cells which can be used in a huge range of portable devices, far too many to list here but to name a few: speakers, mobility scooters, UPS machines, alarm systems, medical units and jump starter packs.

If this is being installed into a machine that has its own fixed power supply (like being connected to the mains) then you do not need to worry about charging as the on board charger will take care of the battery for you.
If however the charging is down to yourself then you should follow a few simple rules such as, fully charging before first use and charge as soon as possible after every use. Leaving in a discharged state is very detrimental to these types of batteries. Secondly, if the battery will not be in use for a couple of months then a top up charge is necessary but never charge for more than 24-hours
