Although this is a maintenance free battery it still requires a healthy charging regime unless its installed into a system that has its own power supply, then the on board charger will take care of this for you. If however the charging is down to yourself then you should fully charge before first use and as soon as possible after every use until full, if it’s not going to be in use for 4-weeks then a top up charge will help prolong the life of it.
