If you are only using this Harley during the summer months then special care must be taken if you want the battery to survive until the following season, our best advise would be to disconnect it from the frame and recharge every six weeks to maintain the quality of the cells, this does not mean leave it on a optimiser, these often do not do the job you are asking of them and although it’s better than doing nothing at all you run the risk of doing more damage than good, recharge until full then remove.
