How to charge and maintain Invacare Dragon Vertic batteries?
Although GEL batteries can take the abuse of charging and discharging more than a regular battery you should still look after them, this can be done by charging upon delivery and most importantly charging after every use. If left without use for a period of six weeks or so then a top up charge will help lengthen the life of them, never leave on charge for more than 24-hours.
Installation:
Installing your new batteries is fairly straight forward, the old ones will be stored underneath your seat and can be accessed by opening up the battery box. Once you have access to them, just take out the new ones and replace with brand new batteries. The batteries are a little heavy so please seek advice from a professional if need be.

These are the largest and best batteries the Invacare-Dragon can take however the electric wheelchair may have come with smaller 50ah AGM batteries. The manufacturers suggest GEL 60ah so that is what on offer here. We can supply the smaller AGM batteries for a cheaper price if you wish though, the link for these can be found on the alternatives tab.
