How to charge and maintain scooter batteries?
Charging your batteries is very important as most of the damage occurs when they are allowed to run flat, so please charge upon delivery and before first use although this should not take long as all our batteries are dispatched with sufficient charge. If a period of six weeks will pass without use then charge them to slow down the natural discharge rate.
Looking to upgrade to a higher ampere for additional range?
The batteries on offer here are a pair of 12v 50ah AGM batteries however we are able to offer an upgrade to this to a 40ah GEL. These will not only provide more miles per charge as they can discharge slightly more than regular AGM but also can take the abuse of discharging more so should last longer overall if treated correctly and are recommended by Sunrise Medical.
