The Bosch AHS 50-20 LI and AHS 55-20 LI have a 500mm and 550mm blade, they both take the Power-4-All interchangeable 18v lithium battery pack, which is also interchangeable with other tools within the same range including lots of garden tools and home DIY ones.
They have features like 20mm tooth spacing as reflected in the model number. Plus anti-blocking and quick-cut technology within a lightweight ergonomic container and blades that are laser-cut and diamond ground to help work through larger branches.
Charge your new battery when it arrives and first use. If for any reason there will be long periods where its not being used then also recharge every eight weeks to keep the cells fresh for later use.
Maintaining a the battery charge is very important and should not be ignored, quite often tools like this only get used for a few weeks of the year, then dumped in the garage or garden shed and forgot about, if you have other tools in the Power-4-All range then rotate the use of the batteries, the use will do them good.
