Eckman are popular garden equipment manufacturer that have some great products for sale including the Eckman 24v rechargeable cylinder lawn mower. The issue arrives when they no longer work and most of the time that is because of the batteries. Fear not, it is relatively cheap and easy to replace them and that’s exactly what we are offering here. The standard batteries that are installed will be 6FM7 or something along those lines, these batteries are direct replacements but from a better manufacturer.

How to charge and maintain your new battery?
Taking care of your new batteries is quite straightforward if you follow a few simple steps. Firstly fully charge your batteries upon arrival and before first use. Secondly make sure you charge them after every use as leaving in a discharged state will cause the most damage. Finally if not used for four-weeks give them a top up charge. Never leave your batteries on charge for more than 24 hours.
Installation
Replacing the batteries is fairly simple, there will be six Phillips head screws holding the battery box together, undo these and take the lid off. Inside you will see two batteries. We have noticed that sometimes these wires are soldered onto the batteries. To make it easier changing them in the future we can also supply flat spade terminals for you to crimp onto your existing wires, select these in the easy upgrade section above if need be.
