Installing your Minivator 900 1000 2000 batteries
Installing your new batteries is fairly simple however if you need any help, please look i your manual or seek advice from a professional. The first thing you need to do is ensure no power is running through the device, then open the top side of the pack using two Phillips screws and pull the plastic tab underneath to release the cover. You will now see two batteries and these should slide out after removing the support bracket. Simply swap them over to the new ones and put back into position.
Charging and maintaining Minivator 900 1000 2000 batteries
Looking after your batteries is very important, without the proper use and care they will have a shortened useable life. Luckily it is quite simple and when they are installed into something that does its own charging, like a stairlift then there really isn’t much you need to do.
Firstly, after installation of the batteries let them charge until full before using. Secondly, depending on your stair lift you may have charging points at the top and bottom or even the whole way down the rail. Always make sure it is charging when not in use and if not used for five weeks then a top up charge will be beneficial.
