Maintenance of your new Roadmaster-Executive batteries
Although there is a lot of advice out there, taking care of your batteries is actually quite simple. If you follow these simple steps, you should be fine. To begin, as with any rechargeable battery, it may take a few uses and charges to reach full capacity as part of the normal condition process. Second, fully charge your batteries as soon as possible after every use; the most damage is done when batteries are left discharged. Finally, if you are not going to use the batteries for an extended period of time, remember to recharge them every four weeks and not leave them on the charger for more than 24-hours at a time.
Roadmaster, Roadmaster-Elite or Roadmaster-Executive?
The Roadmaster can come in a variety of different versions, and each one requires a different battery, so please make sure you look at what you have and order the correct batteries. This page is for the Roadmaster- Executive which requires a pair of one hundred ampere batteries. Installation of Roadmaster-Executive batteries
Don't be concerned when it comes to installing your new batteries; the most difficult part will be lifting them up because they are quite heavy. They are stored beneath your seat and can be accessed by removing the seat and the cowling, which contains a pair of wire-connected batteries. Simply remove the old ones and install the new ones. Your manual should contain detailed information, but if you need assistance, please seek professional advice.
