Maintenance of your new Eden-Road-King batteries
The batteries will arrive almost fully charged, but you must still charge them before use because the first charge is always the most important. The following ones are also very important so charge after every single use. Do not try to run down the battery, just because they are capable of deeper discharges does not mean you should test them to that extent, doing so will only shorten the life expectancy and cost you money in the long run. If you are not actively using the batteries for any reason, a top-up charge every four weeks will keep the cells fresh. However, do not leave the charger on for more than necessary.
Installation
The batteries are maintenance-free and thus do not require daily attention; however, they do require charging. When the time comes to access the batteries, consult your manual for more information. They are hidden beneath the seat and are shielded by a plastic shroud. It should be fairly simple to access them and swap them over however they are very heavy because of the lead content so take care when lifting.
Environmentally Friendly
Because they are primarily made of lead, they can be converted into another useful product when they no longer produce the necessary energy. This is only if you take them to a recycling centre near you, which your municipality will have. This will bring the product's natural green life to a close and ensure that the environmentally friendly energy source completes its life cycle properly.
