Looking after your new batteries for UT650EG
The batteries in this UPS should last between two and five years, but this is not a hard and fast rule, and a lot will depend on how they are used. The batteries will get hot in general use, and the hotter they get, the shorter the life, so good ventilation is essential. To get a long battery life, try to keep the load below 40 percent, it is capable of much more, but the payoff will be battery life.

Installing the new battery into your UPS is surprisingly easy and the only tool you will need is a screwdriver and five minutes of your time.
To begin with, make sure to turn off and unplug anything connected to the UPS and remove the UPS from the AC power source. On the bottom of the UPS will you will a screw securing the battery cover to the UPS, undo this, and slide it out the way. Slide-out the battery and disconnect the wires. To install the new battery just slide it into place and connect the wires up the same way they were before. Put the compartment cover back on and secure it with the screw. Run the battery test using power management software to ensure everything is working correctly and safe to use.
