Hyundai HYSW1000 battery maintenance advice
Taking care of your yard sweeper's electric start power source is not difficult, but there are numerous myths about battery care that vary depending on who you ask. Charge your battery completely before the first use and, more importantly, after use. The manual (which is available on the Downloads tab for your convenience) recommends charging your battery after ten uses, but a battery should be charged after every use. The battery will sustain the most damage if it is left discharged. During the offseason when the yard sweeper will not be used, charge it before storing it and recharge it every five weeks. Never charge the battery for any longer than is necessary.
Environmentally Friendly
This battery is predominantly made of lead which is a recyclable material and should be sent to the correct place at the end of its life. This will ensure it is turned into something new and you are doing your bit to help the earth. If you are unsure where your local recycling centre is, please contact your council. This also applies to the battery that you are replacing.
