The only equipment needed is a screwdriver, and the process is incredibly straightforward. Before continuing, switch off and unplug all connected devices to the UPS, then unplug from the power source.
Invert the UPS, then remove the screws holding the bottom plate. Pressing down on the battery cover will release it from the plate. Remove the old battery with care, then unplug the two wires that are attached to it. To use the UPS. Replace the batteries and reconnect the old cables as before. Screw back on the battery cover after replacing it. By pressing the UPS power button, perform a cold start to give the battery time to adapt to its new environment.
